Flow Map
What the nodes and connections represent, and which parts are inferred.
The Flow Map shows where liquidity sits and how activity distributes across chains and decentralized exchanges.
- Chain nodes are sized by live TVL from DefiLlama.
- DEX nodes are sized by live 24-hour volume from DefiLlama.
- Connections exist where a DEX is deployed on a chain. Connection thickness uses the per-chain 24-hour volume breakdown when the upstream provides one. Where a breakdown is missing, thickness is estimated by splitting the DEX total evenly across its supported chains and the map labels those connections as estimated.
Pool and token views apply the same idea at a smaller scale: a token node connected to its pools, each sized by reserve.
